Our purpose is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in a community welcoming to everyone. We accomplish this through:
Worship
Grace has a strong foundation of Christian education and liturgy for both adults and children. Every Sunday worship centers on the Word and Communion. See Worship & Music for more information.
Education
Bible study groups, Sunday School, and additional education opportunities are available for everyone. In addition, Grace has a vibrant Christian-based preschool for children of all faiths and secular camp programs for all children. See Education for more information.
Outreach
Grace is an integral part of the community and we are dedicated to several outreach ministries. See Social Ministry for more information.
Fellowship
We share many social experiences together as a family and as part of the larger community. See Congregational Life for more information.
A Brief History
Grace congregation held its first service in 1920 in the River Edge Grammar School, with fifty-five charter members. In 1923 ground was broken for a new church at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Bridge Street (now River Edge Road). In 1955, the congregation, having grown to over five hundred members, broke ground for a new building on Fifth Avenue (our current location).
